Becomean Eternal

It is the year 2246. The bands, creators and brands of the 2020s never left: they live on as holograms, playing the café stages and reading the news across the sector. We call them the Eternals. Yours could be next.

A galaxy to appear in

Starcorp Tycoon is a business strategy game for Windows and Mac. You build a company across a sector of star systems: you research, build factories on new worlds, outmarket rival corporations and make deals in a café where captains sell rumours and the house band never stops. It starts with an energy drink; expansions bring new product lines, worlds and events.

It is made by one independent developer in the Netherlands and updated every few weeks. Every update gets release notes and a Discord announcement — which is where your feature shows up, with your name on it. The game is played in 13 languages, so your feature travels well beyond one country.

Five ways in

Pick the one that fits you. Each lists what appears in the game and what we need from you to make it happen.

The Orbit Lounge, the café where players meet captains, rumours and the house band

Bands & artists

Headline the Orbit Lounge.

In the game

  • Your band as a hologram act on the café stage, drawn from your own photos and approved by you.
  • Your tracks on the café jukebox, where players spend their evenings between deals.
  • A breaking-news flash on GNN, the in-game news channel, when your "tour of the sector" begins.
  • Your name and links in the game's credits, on this site and in the release notes.

What we need from you

  • One to three tracks where you control both the recording and the song — or the written OK of your label and publisher.
  • Streamer-safe use: players who stream the game on Twitch or YouTube must never get a copyright claim for your music.
  • Photos or artwork you hold the rights to, so we can turn you into a hologram.

Brands & companies

  • A credit and a link in the game, on this site and in the release notes.

What we need from you

  • Permission to use your name and logo in the game, its trailers and its screenshots.

In the game

  • New versions before everyone else, to play on stream.
  • A credit and a link to your channel.

What we need from you

Something else

Bring us a wild one.

In the game

  • Illustrators, voice actors, writers, scientists with a theory about 2246: tell us what you would add to the galaxy.
  • If it fits the game, we work it out together — with the same credit and link.

What we need from you

  • The rights to whatever you would like to see in the game.
Pitch your idea

The deal: exposure for exposure

No contracts full of percentages. You lend the game your sound, your face or your logo; the game gives you a place in its world and points players to you.

No money, either way

No fee, no revenue share. You don't pay to be in the game, and we don't pay to have you.

Nothing ships without your OK

You see the hologram, the art and the text before any player does, and you can ask for changes.

Players keep what they have

Your feature stays in the versions players already own. If you want out, you are left out of the updates after that.

Questions

Is this paid, in either direction?

No. Being featured is free, and so is the feature: no fee, no revenue share, no hidden costs. It is a swap of exposure.

What does the hologram look like?

You appear in the game's own art style, as a projection from the year 2246: recognisably you, slightly translucent, glowing at the edges. We make it from photos or artwork you provide, and you approve it before it ships.

Can players stream the game with my music in it?

They must be able to. That is why we ask for streamer-safe tracks: if your distributor registers your music for Content ID, it needs to whitelist the game or leave those tracks out.

What if I change my mind later?

Tell us, and you are left out of the next updates. Copies players already own keep the version they bought; we cannot reach into them.

Who is behind Starcorp Tycoon?

One independent developer in the Netherlands. The game is sold on this site, with a free demo; more platforms follow.
